J.R. Davis
J.R. is the dad of two adorable girls and the husband to an amazing wife. J.R. spends his free time coaching and playing soccer, chauffeuring kids to practice, and fixing up the house.
J.R. was born and raised in Grand Junction. He graduated from Fruita Monument High School and then attended the University of Denver. He graduated with two degrees – one in Public Policy and one in Finance. While in college, J.R. worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Denver to make sure he wanted to invest in a legal education. After deciding that law was a good fit, J.R. then went to the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.
After graduating law school, J.R. returned to his roots in the Grand Valley. Over the last 12 years, J.R. has spent a lot of time in the courtroom. He spent 15 months as a prosecutor at the Mesa County District Attorney’s office and then started his private practice in 2011. In the last 12 years, J.R. has gone to trial over 30 times.
Now that his family is growing, J.R. is now focusing his practice on transactional work and helping people avoid court so that everyone can have more time with their families and loved ones.
